JUKKA SINNEMÄKI is a teacher at the Jyväskylä Christian School (Finland). His scientifically grounded and expeditious initiatives made his class and school a place where probably any child in the world would enjoy going to. Besides, his child-centred, rule-breaking approach to teaching and learning has not only increased the children's wellbeing, but also their learning results and motivation, proving that "success is a by-product of wellbeing." He has been more and more appreciated worldwide not only as a forerunner of new education, but also as a genuine and inspiring speaker who can make teachers and parents reconsider what is important for their children.
